Hot, hot, hot

As usual, I get to post about a topic as soon as it is over, plaah.

There has been a heatwave here. Nearly 30c for like a week! (And warm weather around 20 to continue with.. but now it is raining.)

Now, all this time when it was not hot, I kept missing Singapore and the tropical warmth ("a gentle warm blanket" is how I have described the tropical heat to others). But - surprise, surprise - when the heat (hot, sharp sun and dry heat, pretty much opposite of the "gentle warm blanket") came, I felt like it is a bit too hot.. Whats going on? Have I acclimatised back to four seasons already?

Rekku seems to be the same, so I had to give him a haircut a couple weeks ahead of what I had planned. At agility practice we've used the same tricks as in Singapore to keep him cool and he has been fine. Actually we have had some awesome practices lately, so awesome I finally made a move towards getting a license and registering for a competition. It's in a week's time and I am nervous ALREADY :o!
